Is it possible to connect an external alarm buzzer to the AIT6000?

Yes, you can easily connect an external 12/24V alarm buzzer relay to your AIT6000. This provides reliable, local AIS warnings that function completely independently of your chartplotter, ensuring maximum situational awareness at sea.

You can also connect a simple push button to the Light Blue (Turquoise) wire to silence the alarms. When the button is pressed, the AIT6000 instantly stops sounding the buzzer output and silences any NMEA 2000 alerts on the network. Please note that the alarm buzzer current must be less than 350mA (0.35A).
