AIS AIDS TO NAVIGATION (ATON)
Digital Deep Sea offers a range of AIS Aids to Navigation (AtoN) solutions designed to enhance the visibility and management of navigation marks and coastal infrastructure. Available in both Type 1 and Type 3 configurations, these systems enable authorities to transmit AIS messages from buoys, beacons and other navigational aids directly to vessels equipped with AIS and charting systems.
AIS AtoNs can be used to identify navigation buoys, channel markers, port entrances and fixed maritime infrastructure while also providing virtual or synthetic AIS marks to highlight temporary hazards, restricted areas, shallow water, dredging operations or other navigational dangers.
