ECS1000
Digital Deep Sea has developed a technically advanced range of Electronic Chart Systems (ECS) designed specifically for professional and commercial vessel operations. The ECS1000 platform combines compliance with national regulatory requirements and a feature-rich navigation environment that is ready to meet both current and future operational needs.
At the heart of the system is the ECS100 processor, a compliant marine computer with an integrated ECS operating system and charting software, paired with a dedicated S185 touchscreen display. The system can also be supplied with the CLA2000 IMO-approved Class A AIS transponder, providing AIS target information as well as GPS positioning data for use as an electronic position fixing device.

Our pilot interface solutions enable pilots to connect directly to a vessel’s pilot plug and securely access real-time navigation data. This information can then be transmitted wirelessly to pilot navigation software running on tablets and PCs, providing immediate access to AIS targets, GPS position, heading data and other critical navigation information.
By delivering a reliable wireless link between ship systems and pilot applications, our solutions help improve situational awareness during harbour approaches, river transits and complex manoeuvring operations.
